Ridgewood, Inc. offers services for individual with developmental disabilities and their families within Metro-Atlanta area and surrounding counties. Ridgewood provides services to BDHDD population. Through Medicaid waiver ( NOW & COMP) Ridgewood provides Community Residential Alternatives (CRA) to individuals in comforts of structured home setting environment with 24-hour supervision. CRA homes are designed to provide the comforts of home setting with a care provider and one to three roommates. Ridgewood strategically address the needs and desires of individuals served by providing monthly nursing visits by registered nurse, monthly direct support professional home visits and bi-weekly visits by the office manager to ensure that all needs, hopes and desires are addressed by the agency for each and every individual served.
Ridgewood also provides Community Living Support services for individuals with developmental disabilities who, if given assistance, can reside in their own homes. With assistance given by a direct support professional these individual can become active member of the community. The ultimate goal of Ridgewood is to support individuals with developmental disabilities in pursuit of developing life skills, interest and maximum independence. Ridgewood is committed to working with individuals who are delayed, autistic, intellectual deficiency, severe intellectual deficiency and profound deficiency.
Ridgewood is committed in working diligently with individuals and families to identify strength, needs, and work towards achieving individual’s hopes, dreams and desires. Individuals are motivated in becoming more involved in the community activities of their choice.
Behavior Support Management (BSM)
Providence Care, Inc. through supervision of a behavior specialist has individualized behavior support management support plan, safety plan, and crisis plan, in the event there is crisis involving individual. Providence Care take all measures to keep the individual safe. Behavior specialist ensures that staff are trained upon hire, when changes are made to either plan and annually.
